John McCain is an ass-hole

Disclaimer: I'm sinking deeper into depression every day, not just because of what I see happening on the campaign trail, but because my personal life right now is a living hell. My mother is terminally ill, my father is severely disabled and needs constant care, and I am my parents' only surviving child. So life really sucks right now. The one thing I looked forward to was getting the Republicans out of the White House, and now we Dems are on the verge of having another election stolen from us by that asshole McCain and that bimbo Palin and the media who are cowered by them. So if this rant seems over the top, forgive me. I feel like my head is going to explode.

John McCain is an asshole, pure and simple. He spent time in a POW camp and I don't give a shit. He was bombing innocent women and children when he got shot down so he wasn't an innocent victim. But somehow Americans are so dumb and narcissistic that they think our bombs are blessed by god and other nations' bombs are the work of the devil. That's bullshit!

Have you ever seen pictures of people after bombs have fallen on them? Have you seen the remains of what we did when we dropped the atom bombs on Japan? The few walls that were left standing had the outlines of people on them, whose ashes had been seered into the wall as the rest of them was vaporized by our little exercise in war. Do you remember the picture of the young Vietnamese girl running down the village street naked? You couldn't see the burns all over her back, the result of napalm.

But John McCain survived his time in POW camp and ever since then has been given a pass on every despicable thing he has ever done. He ran around womanizing when his wife was recovering from a horrendous car accident. One of his conquests was Cindy, a rich girl twenty-five years his junior, who he eventually married. He couldn't make it to the rank of admiral like his daddy and granddaddy so he left and ran for the Senate. And he's been spinning this stupid maverick tale ever since. He clearly says in one of this books that it was his ambition to run for the presidency not because he wanted to do anything for the people, but because he wanted to be a big shot.

And now he is running a despicable, but typical republican campaign which is all about winning and nothing about the people. It's all about McCain and now it's all about Palin as well, a dimwit if ever I've seen one. A woman who cares more about being in the limelight than about protecting her children. Well, I'm sick of both of them.

They make coded racist attacks on Obama and accuse him of racism. They parade Palin's dysfunctional family out as part of her resume, and then attack the media who even mention anything about them. They attack Obama for being a celebrity (who has a brain) which they stopped once they got their own celebrity (who doesn't have a brain.) They accuse Obama of being sexist because he used the exact same phrase "lipstick on a pig" to talk about McCain's claims that he will change Washington, as McCain used when talking about Hillary's health care plan. They are disgusting and despicable, and they just might win with tactics that are all about slander and distraction.

McCain and Palin are clever, but they are stupid. There's a difference. If the American people are as stupid as McCain and Palin are, and as stupid as this dumb duo think the people are, then the American people deserve every miserable thing they will get.

You think eight years of Bush was bad?
