Wash, rinse, repeat

I've been listening to various sniveling McCain supporters, most notably Eric Cantor on Hardball, trying to disappear McCain's 26 year history of deregulation by saying things like "we're in a crisis" and "it doesn't matter how we got here" and " we need to go forward and help the American people." But of course there's no plan on how to do that, because when all you know how to do is destroy government, you haven't a clue about how to make it work. These asses do not want to take responsibility for the deregulation mess that is their baby. They broke this and they have no clue how to fix it, but they sure as hell don't want you to remember how it all started.

What does this remind you of?

Iraq, of course.

Remember when the immoral, illegal, they lied us into it - Iraq War was a bloody mess and the American poeple had turned against it? That's when Mr. POW himself, along with his BFF Joe Lieberman, decided we needed a "surge." Then, whenever Iraq came up on the campaign trail, McCain touted his success in promoting the surge and condemned Obama because he didn't. Of course, Obama had opposed the war to begin with. The war was Bush's baby, and he had the full support of McCain, who actually suggested the war before Bush began plotting it. Obama was right in opposing the war, and McCain had been wrong in supporting the war, but McCain never wanted to go there. He continually said we had to go forward, that it did no good to look back.

So at least these jerks are consistent. They are clueless and incompetent and totally mess things up, then they come up with a promise to do better, and demand you not blame them for their creating the problem in the first place.

These guys are frakkin (sorry, too much Battlestar Gallactica) geniuses!
