So sad

I once knew two young men from Idaho who were what you might call losers.

They were heavy drinkers and smokers and had done more than their share of drugs. (What the hell else is there to do in Idaho, they seemed to be projecting.)

Both had been arrested, one multiple times for robbery and muggings.

Their favorite attack line for anyone who annoyed them or got in their way was that they were "ignorant." These were two of the most idiotic young men I had ever met, and yet their comprehension was so low that they had no clue how stupid they were and how moronic they sounded.

They're the two losers I think of whenever Sarah Palin opens her mouth. She has no clue about governing, about legislative business in the Congress, about science and global warming, about education and logic, about history or geography, about who or what is dangerous today, about Barack Obama's ability or character, about how corrupt and dishonorable John McCain is, and indeed how utterly vacuous and stupid she is. I suspect Alaska is a lot like Idaho, and there are some similarities between some of the people. Think of their Senators: Larry Craig from Idaho and Ted Stevens from Alaska. Tell you anything?

She is a complete and total nothing, what my dad used to call "the smartest one in the dumb class" and I think the American people see it.
