Liberal women and feminists have been saying for decades that they deserved equal opportunities to prove they could do things the men could do. That would mean, of course, that they could handle themselves as equals in all kinds of situations and not complain when they had to play the same kind of tough games men play.
If Sarah Palin is such a feminist, equal to all other vice presidential candidates, then why is she hiding out, unavailable for interviews and press conferences?
Is she such a delicate flower that she has to be protected, which means she really isn't equal to other candidates, both male and female, or are they hiding something else?
Would we let a male candidate for the vice presidency hide out like this?
